In accordance with the PNP Revitalized Internal Cleaning Program and the PNP Internal Disciplinary Mechanism, 26 employees assigned from the Cagayan PPO-Provincial Intelligence Unit, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and 1st Cagayan Provincial Mobile Force Company were subjected to a surprise drug test at the Cagayan Police Provincial Office on January 2, 2025.
The Regional Forensic Unit 2 and the Regional Intelligence Division coordinated the surprise drug testing.
Meanwhile, PRO2 Regional Director PPGen Antonio P. Marallag, Jr., is determined in his resolve to fight illegal drugs and ensure that all Valley Cops maintain the integrity of law enforcement by refraining from using illegal substances.
“I will not tolerate anyone engaging in any illegal activity, particularly with regard to RA 9165. PRO2 is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct among its members,” he added.#
