Four (4) male individuals were arrested as a result of the anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by operatives of Tabuk CPS, 1503rd RMFB 15, Provincial Intelligence Unit Kalinga PPO, RID PROCOR, RDEU/RSOG, CIDG Kalinga/Apayao Field Unit, 1st KPMFC, HPG Kalinga, and RIU-14 at Sitio Mapaoay, Barangay Ipil, Tabuk City, Kalinga, this morning, September 25, 2022, in response from an information received of ongoing illegal gambling activity (Pingpong).
The said operation resulted to the arrest of said 4 gambling personalities for Violation of P.D 1602 Illegal Gambling, while one of them for Violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
Confiscated during the operation were one-unit Caliber 45 Pistol ARMSCOR with SN 786433; 1 magazine loaded with 12 live ammunitions; 1 black holster; 3 pieces drop balls; gambling money amounting to One thousand four hundred forty pesos (Php1,440.00); and 1 drop ball (pingpong) table.
After documentation, inventory, and markings, the arrested individuals including the seized and confiscated firearm, gambling paraphernalia, and other pieces of evidence were brought to Tabuk CPS for investigation and proper disposition.#
