Today, the Provincial Health Office received information from the Regional Epidemiological Surveillance Unit that there are 24 additional VOC cases reported in the whole Cordillera wherein twenty-three ( 23 ) cases were positive for Delta variant while one (1) was positive for Alpha variant. Seven COVID-19 cases from Kalinga are identified to be infected with Delta Variant.

The cases include a 20 years old Male from Santor,Rizal;-53 years old Female from Mabilong, Lubuagan; a 52 years old Female from Dagupan Weste, Tabuk City;-40 years old Female from Bulanao Norte, Tabuk City; a 75 years old Male from Bulanao Norte, Tabuk City;-30 years old Male from Liwan West, Rizal; and a 74 years old Female from Liwan West, Rizal.

Upon receipt of the information, the authorities have undertaken the initial steps to address the situation and will continue to do so.

The Provincial Local Government and the municipalities or LGU’s concerned were immediately informed.

Governor Tubban urged the LGUs to continue implementing stricter community quarantine guidelines and execute the immediate response needed.

He is also reminding the public that the suspension of unessential travels and, holding of unessential activities is not yet lifted.

To date, the province has recorded eight COVID19 Delta variants. Most of the hospitals and infirmaries catering to COVID19 cases in the province are in full capacity.

Let us be reminded that the province remains under General Community Quarantine, Alert Level 4.

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela–The city government has placed the New Ilagan Public Market under lockdown until Wednesday (Sept. 22) to give way to disinfection after some of its workers contracted COVID-19, an official said.

Mayor Josemarie Diaz said the lockdown began at midnight of Sunday and was seen to help contain the virus spread in the area.

Some of the fish vendors had to temporarily relocate along the roadside of Barangay Baligatan to continue earning despite the lockdown.

Fish vendor Elicar Palermo, 32, said they would continue selling outside the market while the lockdown is ongoing.

Ngayong araw ang bilang ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa lungsod ay nasa 975. Tumataas ang naitatalang bilang ng panibagong kaso na nasa 128 kasama ang 5 na re-exposure, habang 104 naman ang nakarekover mula sa sakit. Nakakabahala naman ang 4 na indibidwal na nasawi ngayong araw.

Mariing pinapaalalahanan ang ating mga kababayan na sumunod sa ating minimum health standards upang makatulong sa pag-iwas sa community transmission. Kung may nararamdaman na sintomas o may exposure sa nag positibo sa sakit ay agad na mag isolate at ireport sa BHERTS o sa Bayanihan Helplines.

Pinaiigting ang pag-iingat lalo na at nasa lungsod na ang Delta Variant. Ito ay mas mabagsik, mas madaling kumalat at mas nakakamamatay ayon sa mga experto.

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela — A police master sergeant was arrested in an entrapment operation after he allegedly tried to extort P300,000 from an arrested drug personality’s kin in exchange for “case-fixing” on Sunday in this city, police said.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Andree Michelle Camhol-Abella, Cagayan Valley police information officer, said Police Master Sergeant Sherwin Gamit, 38, assigned at the warrant section of the Cauayan City police, was arrested for robbery-extortion and for illegal possession of firearms in front of the Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church in Rizal Avenue, District 1 village at 10:52 a.m.

The Philippine National Police-Regional Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Team (RIMET), Isabela police intelligence unit, and the Cauayan police caught Gamit while receiving the P300,000 marked money from the female relative of a drug suspect.

RIMET agents found out that Gamit allegedly tried to extort P300,000 in exchange for fixing the case of a suspect who was earlier arrested for alleged drug dealing.

After the woman handed the cash to Gamit, police officers who were “discreetly positioned overlooking the transaction” immediately rushed up and arrested him.

Seized from Gamit were P5,055 cash, assorted receipts, a PNP identification card, ATM cards, and a black leather ID case.

Seized inside Gamit’s car was the P300,000 marked money, a caliber .22 handgun without serial numbers, and a caliber 9mm police service firearm with three loaded magazines.

Gamit was placed under police custody and will be facing appropriate charges.

Ngayong araw, naglabas muli ng Biosurveillance Report ang Department of Health (DOH) Central Office, University of the Philippines-Philippine Genome Center (UP-PGC) at University of the Philippines-National Institutes of Health (UP-NIH), kung saan may karagdagang 40 na kaso ng Delta Variant sa Rehiyon Dos. Lahat ng mga kaso ay purong local cases at fully-recovered na o gumaling na mula sa sakit.

Ang Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU) ay nakatanggap ng kumpirmasyon ng mga bagong kasong naitala mula sa Epidemiology Bureau (EB) ng Department of Health (DOH) Central Office, ayon dito, patuloy paring apektado ng Delta Variant ang apat na probinsya ng Lambak Cagayan at nananatiling Delta case-free ang probinsya ng Batanes. Ayon sa report, ang probinsya ng Cagayan ay may limang kaso mula sa Peñablanca (2) at Tuguegarao (3). Pumalo sa labing dalawang (12) kaso ng Delta Variant ang probinsya ng Quirino mula sa Diffun (6), Maddela (4) at Saguday (2), samantalang sa Nueva Vizcaya ay may isang kaso mula sa bayan ng Bambang. Nananatiling mataas ang bilang ng Delta cases sa probinsya ng Isabela na may 22 cases mula sa City of Santiago (13), Cabagan (4) at tig-isa sa mga bayan ng Aurora, Cordon, Jones, San Agustin, at San Mateo.

Ang Special Action Team (SAT) ng Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU) ay katuwang ang mga Rural Health Units at Local Government Units ng mga apektadong munisipalidad sa pagsasagawa ng case investigation at contact tracing activities. Magbibigay ng karagdagang impormasyon ang Kagawaran kung kinakailangan.

Ang kooperasyon ng bawat isa ay mahalaga sa pagpapababa ng COVID-19 cases sa ating komunidad kaya epektibo parin ang pagsunod sa ating Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS). Muling ipinapaalala ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan na ang pagbabakuna kontra COVID-19 ay libre, take it when it’s your turn upang maprotektahan ang iyong sarili at mga minamahal sa buhay, makipag-ugnayan lamang sa inyong LGU tungkol sa proseso ng pagpapalista. Bumaba naman na bahagya ang bilang ng mga suspected cases sa 79 kaya inaasahan na bababa pa sa mga susunod na mga araw ang bilang ng aktibong kaso.

Narito ang mga datos ng covid-19 cases ng probinsya mula sa Provincial Integrated Health Office para sa petsang September 19.

Base sa pinakahuling datos ng Provincial Health Office, nakapagtala ng pitumpung (70) panibagong kaso ang ating lalawigan, putumpu’t-apat (74) naman ang mga gumaling mula sa virus, at isa (1) ang nasawi.

Sa kabuuang bilang, 4,184 na ang COVID-19 CONFIRMED CASES ng ating probinsya, 494 dito ang ACTIVE CASES, 3,526 naman ang RECOVERED CASES at 128 na ang COVID RELATED DEATHS.

Patuloy na nadadagdagan ang kumpirmadong kaso sa probinsya ng Quirino. Dahil dito, tuloy ang pagpapaalala ng mga opisyal ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na mag-ingat at sumunod sa mga health and safety protocol na ipinatutupad ng DOH at IATF at kung maaari ay magpabakuna na upang magkaroon ng karagdagang proteksyon kontra Covid-19, ayon kay Governor Dakila Carlo Cua.

Sumuko sa pamahalaan ang pitong (7) miyembro ng NPA mula sa bayan ng Baggao. Sa kanilang pagsuko ay kanila ding isinuko ang kanilang mga dekalibreng armas.

Inihayag ni LtCol. Joeboy Kindipan, Commandding Officer ng 77th Infantry Battalion, Phil. Army na sumuko ang mga rebelde dahil sa kahirapan at gutom na kanilang dinaranas sa kabundukan.

Ayon pa sa opisyal, maaaring wala na umanong suporta na nakukuha ang mga rebelde sa mga supporters sa mga barangay na dahilan upang tuluyan na ang mga ito na magbalik-loob sa gobyerno.

Bitbit ng mga rebelde na miyembro ng East Front ng Komiteng Rehiyon-Cagayan Valley ang limang M16 rifles, 1 M653, 1 M14 rifle at iba pag gamit pandigma.

Kasama umano ang mga ito sa grupo na umiikot sa mga kabundukang bahagi ng Sta. Ana, Gattaran, hanggang sa bayan ng Baggao.

Ayon naman kay MGEn Laurence Mina ng 5th ID, hindi umano titigil ang kanilang hanay sa mga operation at community support programs upang mahikayat ang mga rebelde na magbalik loob at matuldukan na ang insurhensiya sa bansa.

Sa ngayon ay mayroon na umanong 633 na rebelde ang sumuko kasama na ang 259 na mga baril mula Enero hanggang Setyembre ngayong taon.

Inihayag rin ni Nolcom chief LtGen Arnulfo Marcelo B. Burgos na tatlo kada araw ang nagbabalik-loob sa mga RRs sa North at Central Luzon.
