TUGUEGARAO CITY––At least six active COVID-19 cases were registered in Cagayan province, data from the provincial epidemiology and surveillance unit showed on Tuesday, May 17.

The infections were recorded in this city, which has four, and in Solana town, which has two.

Data also showed that the remaining COVID-19 infection in Iguig town had recovered from the viral disease.

As of Monday, 27 towns in the province had zero active COVID-19 cases.
Despite the dropping number of infections, Dr. Carlos Cortina, Cagayan provincial health officer, reminded villagers to continue observing the minimum public health protocols in the province, which is under the most lenient COVID-19 Alert Level 1.#
