Joint operating units of PDEA RO II BATANES PO, PDEA CAR KALINGA PO, PDEA RO II NUEVA VIZCAYA PO, PDEU/PIU KPPO, 1501st and 1503rd RMFB 15, Tabuk CPS, and RID PROCOR seized MOL 15 kilograms of dried marijuana leaves, stalk and fruiting tops during a buy-bust operation at about 5:55 PM of September 28, 2022 at Purok 3, Agbannawag, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Operatives identified the suspect as Rolando Yag-ao y Appag @Rain, 32 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Tinglayan, Kalinga.
Confiscated during the operation were: eight (8) pieces dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops and stalks in brick form weighing MOL 8 kilograms, eight (8) pieces dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops and stalks in tubular form weighing MOL 7 kilograms, boodle money and one (1) unit of android phone OPPO RENO 8.
Violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165 will be charged against the suspect.
