The four soldiers were recalled by their battalion headquarters to help in DRO after the recent 6.7 magnitude earthquake that hit the province again in the midnight of October 25, 2022 following a more devastating 7.0 magnitude quake last July.
Lt. Col. Ricardo Garcia III, the commander of 24th infantry battalion slammed the New People’s Army (NPA) in the latest atrocity. “We condemn in the strongest terms possible, the barbaric act of the Communist Terrorist Group. We assure our people particularly the families of our soldiers that we will pursue the perpetrators and bring them to justice”, Lt. Col. Garcia said.#
