Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City – A Street Level Individual was apprehended in an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation conducted by the operatives of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 2 in Mabini, Santiago City this evening.
Alias “Jomar” fell in the hands of police operatives and 2.3 grams of suspected “Shabu” with an estimate value of Php15,640.00 was recovered from his direct possession.
In addition, other non-drug pieces of evidence were also documented and confiscated. Police Brigadier General Christopher Birung, PRO2 Regional Director said that the arrest of the said drug personality will help reduce the supply of illegal drugs, particularly “Shabu” in the City of Santiago. RD Birung also manifested his all-out support in anti-illegal drug campaign in Cagayan Valley, in coordination with other law enforcement agencies.
A drug personality categorized as Street Level Individual is one who pushes or sells illicit drugs within his locality.
