TUGUEGARAO CITY—The SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown (SMTD) lit up its 35 feet tall Christmas Centerpiece on Saturday night, October 29 at the mall atrium here.

This year’s centerpiece of SMTD is a Giant Victorian Glass house embellished with snow frosting. It is surrounded by Christmas Trees adorned with bright lights, along with gift boxes and snow-covered flamingos.

Aside from the launching of its centerpiece, the mall also held a ribbon cutting ceremony with their “100 days of happiness campaign” partners; Cagayano Artists Group, Local Government Units and the League of Indispensable Neo Youth Artists.

“Apart from the idea that we are bringing closer to the Cagayanos a winter wonderland vibe to make them feel that there’s a snow place like home here at SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown, we also want to make a circle of happiness among Cagayanos. This is why, we opened an art for a cause group exhibit here in our mall,” Asst. Mall Manager Romel S. Uy, said.

“For this year, we will be adopting some kids with disabilities and chosen farmers here in Tuguegarao as our direct beneficiaries. The different visual artists from Cagayan   voluntarily participated and contributed their amazing original artworks for this campaign. 20% of the proceed will directly go to the chosen beneficiary, so we are inviting all to visit our exhibit which will run until December 30 of this year,” Uy added.

This is the second time SM Supermalls conducted a 100 days of happiness campaign. In 2021, the biggest mall network in the Philippines showed the world more than a hundred ways of giving through 100 Days of Caring.#
