SM Supermalls in North Luzon spread Christmas cheers as they held simultaneous gift-giving activities on December 6, 2023.
Through its charity arm SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI), SM Supermalls distributed more than 4000 Christmas packs all over the region. Celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, the gift-giving brought smiles and cheers to chosen beneficiaries of the region. Further promoting SM’s culture of volunteerism, the activity brings happiness and spread social good to the communities in this region. In the province of Isabela, SM City Cauayan distributed 400 Christmas baskets to barangay workers, farmers and senior citizens in Cauayan City and towns of Angadanan and San Agustin.
The recipients thanked the mall for giving Christmas baskets and spreading cheer this holiday season. Gloria Ocampo, 66 years old, resident of Brgy. Masaya Centro in San Agustin, Isabela said, “I am touched to receive this gift…I hope that [they] will be blessed more so that you will be able to continue to share the joy to many more communities.”
Meanwhile, SM Supermalls in Tuguegarao distributed a total of 800 Christmas Baskets to tricycle drivers in Tuguegarao City, underemployed, tanod and health care workers, and street sweepers in Barangay Ugac Sur, Tuguegarao City. The conglomerate’s other malls across the nation also led gift-giving activities.#
