As part of its commitment to extend care and support to women and children in its host communities, renewable energy solutions provider SN Aboitiz Power-Magat (SNAP-Magat) supported the โ€‹โ€‹Ligtas Buntis Congress Medical and Dental Mission of the Municipality of Ramon, Isabela under SNAP-Magatโ€™s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

Participating in the successful project at Ramon Multi-Purpose Hall on May 5, 2023 were 308 expectant mothers and 498 underweight preschoolers.

In attendance were Ramon Municipal Vice Mayor Dennis Jon dela Cruz, members of Sangguniang Bayan, Ramon Rural Health Unit (RHU) physicians, and Ramon Freemasons.

The vice mayor thanked SNAP-Magat for the sponsorship through the company’s CSR fund. During the activity, he stressed the importance of educating would-be moms about proper nutrition and care during pregnancy.

The congress’ activities include health lectures from obstetrician-gynecologists of the Southern Isabela Medical Center, and free dental and medical consultations. SNAP-Magat also provided essential care packages for pregnant mothers and undernourished children.

Over the years, SNAP-Magat has supported health and safety projects in the community.

The “Ligtas Buntis” Campaign was launched by the Department of Health (DOH) to educate pregnant women about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
