The Haggiyo cops of the 2nd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company successfully conducted a school-based outreach activity in Brgy Ducligan, Banaue, Ifugao on March 18, 2024.
During the activity, the Haggiyo cops distributed school supplies, free meals, and chessboards to the learners of Guitte Primary School-Annex.
Likewise, free haircut services were also provided to the learners and their parents as part of the unit’s best practice dubbed as “Pulis Ko’ Barbero Ko”.
Moreover, the police officers rendered a dance intermission to entertain the participants; lectured on various topics such as RA 9262 also known as the Anti-Violence against Women and Their Children Act, anti-illegal drugs, anti-terrorism, and anti-bullying to the parents and teachers to raise awareness; and spearheaded a tree planting activity wherein a total of 50 Narra and Mahogany saplings were planted in the school’s vicinity.
The said activity was conducted in celebration of 2024 National Women’s Month and in support of the PNP programs such as the Revitalized Pulis Sa Barangay (R-PSB) and the Oplan “BES” (Bisita Eskwela).
