Strutting her dominance, Filipina tennis ace Alexandra Eala won her first Wimbledon juniors match on July 5 at Court 6 in London.
The 16-year-old Rafa Nadal Academy scholar made short work of her Argentinian opponent, Solana Sierra, in two sets, 6-2, 6-4 in the singles tournament.
Sierra threatened to catch up with Eala in the second set with back-to-back game scores but Eala broke serve to ensure the victory.
Eala is hoping to snare a third Grand Slam title after her 2021 French Open girls’ doubles title last June this year.#
